Shana came from KFRC in San Francisco and first appeared on the survey in October 1976. She worked the 2AM - 6AM shift then moved to the 10PM - 2AM slot in 1977 before departing in 1978.
She went on to have a long career in Los Angeles radio, most notably at KLOS, KLSX, and KCBS-FM (Arrow 93).
Shana passed away in Detroit on July 17, 2015 at age 62.

Shana also worked at KROQ for a short spell.
Shana is also one of the nicest people in radio or the music business. I used to talk to her every week when she was working for a music promotion company.
