"Burning Bridges" is another record that didn't so well nationally. Who would have guessed that Mike Curb would be California's lieutenant governor by decade's end?

Jerry Reed just died a few weeks ago, of course. "Named him after a man of the cloth, called him Amos Moses."

Before that, Jerry Reed wrote two songs done by Elvis Presley that were bigger on the Boss 30 than they were nationally..."Guitar Man" and "U.S. Male", both from 1968.
