Joni Mitchell finally charts on KHJ. Of course, she was hardly a singles artists, but this was a fine track from "For the Roses."
The debut of Donna Fargo's "Funny Face" reminds me that, like Gallery's "Nice to Be With You" from earlier in 1972, Fargo's big national hit from that year, "The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA," didn't chart on KHJ, either. Odd, since "Happiest Girl" has a catchy, singalong chorus.
