Surprisingly, the Fifth Dimension's "Never My Love" is a Hitbound that won't make the Thirty. I remember it getting lots of airplay.
The Four Tops' version of "MacArthur Park" is the third version to chart in four years -- and Donna Summer's version will make it four come 1978.
I really enjoyed Bobby Russell's "Saturday Morning Confusion." A nice, lighthearted romp.
I liked that song too. It was good to see Russell finally chart on his own after writing so many other hits, including "Honey." "Let it be known that at 5 the TV is going to be tuned to the Game of the Week."
