Ah, "The Lights of Night" by Deni Lynn. What a terrific, totally forgotten single. Kind of countryish but with a haunting production. This record did zero nationally -- it didn't even Bubble Under the Hot 100. And while it was on White Whale, which had the Turtles and many other singles on KHJ, it wasn't even included on a best-of White Whale compilation CD that was put out by Varese Vintage in the 1990s. One wonders what every happened to Deni Lynn. Based on this record, she deserved better.
"The Lights of Night" is one of the tough ones to find. It's not even included on the two-volume "The White Whale Story" on import. And those CDs contain some pretty obscure tunes.

Survey erratum: "Make Believe" by Wind has the "Weeks on Boss 30" listed as 4. It should be 5.
