At this time, I had no idea that Laura Nyro's original version of "Wedding Bell Blues" was such a big hit on KHJ less than three years earlier (I didn't start listening until summer 1968 and KHJ never played Nyro's version as an oldie).
"Echo Park" by Keith Barbour moved up a disappointing two positions from No. 29 to No. 27. I really liked this song. I seemed to have a habit of liking songs that sort of stalled in their second week.
