One of the songs I'd occasionally hear in 1968 was an instrumental, and I thought it was beautiful. Piano, strings and a haunting female voice. But I never knew its name. Years went by. Decades. Then in the mid-1990s, I came across a track on a CD called "Soul Coaxing," a title I'd long seen but didn't know the song. I was thrilled when I heard it -- it was the long-lost instrumental I'd so loved back in 1968.

So Steve, what was the song? I'm dying here!

The aforementioned "Soul Coaxing" by Raymond Lefebvre. I wrote about it here because it debuted on this week's Boss 30.

OK, thanks. I didn't scrub the survey very thoroughly, and when I read your post I took it that the CD was called "Soul Coaxing". Yeah, definitely a "d'oh!" moment for me.
