Who would have ever guessed that Clint Black would decades later become a big draw in Las Vegas? "Playgroud in My Mind" was his only hit.
I had no idea that Clint Holmes was a Vegas attraction. Then again, I'm one of those rarities of being a lifelong Angeleno and have never been to Las Vegas.
Holmes played in the same showroom for something like a decade in the '90s and into the new century. I think the showroom was even named after him. I can't recall which hotel it was, but it was on the Strip. And the show was very well received.
Why all the movement of jocks even before Drake left? What the hell was going on in 1973? While Elliot was simply an announcer type, Cat and Fox had star quality and would later prove it elsewhere. Butler I always liked as well, he had a nice touch.
