Interesting to see "Convention '72" listed under New Music. It didn't make the Thirty, but I didn't remember KHJ playing it anyway, even though it was Top 10 nationally. It was a Dickie Goodman-like break-in record about the 1972 presidential race that was quite clever, using clips from records from that year.
