Sweathog -- great name for a band.
"I'd Love to Change the World" is a great-sounding record. Very much of its time. Just don't listen too closely to the politically incorrect lyrics.
Forgot to mention when "One Fine Morning" debuted that KHJ played the commercial 45 version, but the longer album version has a fine guitar solo. KHJ didn't play Lighthouse's later fine singles, "Pretty Lady" and "Sunny Days."
Although they'd go on to have a few more national hits - this is the last week the Grass Roots would show up on one of KHJs top 30 lists. In fact, I can't recall many songs to be as high as #7 one week only to drop off the list, the next week. Any others like this?
There were four titles to exit the Boss 30 from the No. 5 position (the biggest fall off the survey). They were:

I checked a little further and found some others that fell off the survey from a high position. All were back in the '60s when the song turnover rate was higher.
