"Ride Captain Ride" still sounds great today. Someone once told me that it's about the raid on Tokyo by WWII Capt. Jimmy Doolittle. Can anyone verify that? I see nothing linking them on the Internet.
Sounds like somebody's interpretation of the lyrics. I found a site with Mike Pinera's biography and he talks a little about the song and there's no reference to Doolittle. Still a great song.
