So who are the guys in the band photo??? It's obviously not Dawn. It's four guys, not Tony Orlando and two women. I know that Dawn as a working unit didn't get established until after the early singles, so is it possible that these guys were put forth by Bell Records as "Dawn"? Is Orlando really one of these guys?

"Merry Christmas, Darling" is the only holiday record to make the Boss 30, as far as I know. Still a classic, and this is the Carpenters' original recording. They remixed it in 1978 with Karen doing a new vocal, but I prefer her original work on the 1970 version.

"1900 Yesterday" is another delightful oddity on White Whale Records.

No idea who those folks might be. I thought the person in the top left might be female. Then again, I'm no expert as I thought Robin McNamara was a female for years...

None of those people in that picture even look like Ellie Greenwich, who along with fellow songwriter/occasional singer Toni Wine were Orlando's backup vocals on "Candida" and "Knock Three Times".
And the Hitbound "Mixed Up Guy"...that is the Joey Scarbury who later had a hit with the theme to the TV show THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO?

I think they goofed on the band photo...I'm sure I've seen those guys before. None are Orlando and none are women.

And yep...that's the same Joey Scarbury. I liked Mixed Up Guy enough to buy a copy. Never heard it anywhere but KHJ.

I cruised the web and found that the photo used on the survey was used on some foreign picture sleeves (sometimes on "Knock Three Times" and sometimes on "Candida"). There's also a different picture sleeve with a different photo that shows six members. Pretty funny.
