Issue #118 - James Craig of Harbor City wins $171 in KHJ’s “Break The Bank” promotion. He had earlier won $650 in the “Wheel of Fortune” promotion (see Issue No. 65).
Some listeners won an inordinate number of contests by exploiting idiosyncracies in the telephone system. KHJ added rules to the contests to limit the number of times people could win within a certain period of time.
