Issue #88 - Humble Harve in full coolness on the cover of the Boss 30.
The Mickie Most-produced “There’s A Kind Of Hush” / “No Milk Today” by Herman’s Hermits takes the top spot on the Boss 30.
Mickie Most was the most successful British record producer on the KHJ surveys, charting 31 titles during the Boss Radio era. George Martin charted 24 titles and Peter Sullivan charted 19 titles.

Of all the special countdowns that KHJ did over the years, one of the most obscure was the Stone-Dex, a list of the top Rolling Stones songs of all time as voted by KHJ listeners. As far as I know, no list was ever published. It was played only once, on Humble Harve’s Saturday show from 7PM-Midnight on March 25, 1967. We didn’t even know how many songs would be on the list until the playback was already underway (it was 35).
Survey erratum: "Go Where You Wanna Go" by the 5th Dimension has the "Weeks on Boss 30" listed as 2. It should be 3.
