CURIOUS ?

Although it's always been obvious that "Yeasterday" was Paul's tune, I've never seen any pre 1970 break up Beatles tune listed as a tune by just "Paul McCartney" or "John Lennon".
On the "Yesterday and Today" album, "Yesterday" was credited to "Lennon/McCartney".

I thought I once read that Brian Epstein thought it was important to keep all songs labeled "Beatles," lest anyone think they could be breaking up. And I'm guessing that since this was a single in the U.S. only, Capitol Records thought it would sell better if it was labeled Beatles.
