"I wish it would rain" sits for the second week at #3, as high as it would go. Always loved that song, and the story behind the writing of it is just so sad and tragic. Roger Penzabene, who wrote it, had just found out his wife was cheating on him, and he couldn't handle it, and couldn't stop loving her. He committed suicide a few weeks after the songs release, at the age of 23.

The final song he wrote was "I Could Never Love Another (After Loving You)", also recorded by the Temptations.
