This is the week of Robert Kennedy's assassination, and it's just about the time I started listening to KHJ and buying 45s. There are still a few songs on here that I don't remember from that time, but most of them are what I always consider my inaugural records.
"Hurdy Gurdy Man" was a favorite of mine. I can remember one night when I was sick I had KHJ on in my room for about six hours, and they played "HGM" three times.
Tiny Tim? I like most people was first aware of him on "Laugh-In." I did get a kick out of him, but in my 10-year-old head, he was one weird dude.

Survey erratum: "MacArthur Park" by Richard Harris has the "Weeks on Boss 30" listed as 7. It should be 6.
