"She's Got Love" is another unjustly forgotten but fine pop single.

"Ball of Fire" would be the last Boss 30 single for Tommy James and the Shondells, which was a surprise considering how well they'd done over the previous few years. James would return solo with "Draggin' the Line" in 1971. He'd also return in 1970 as co-writer and co-producer of "Tighter, Tighter" by Alive and Kicking.

"She's Got Love" is a wonderful tune. It is so 1969.

I think Tommy James' version of "Tighter, Tighter" is a nice version in its own right. I don't know if it was ever released as a single since it didn't chart on Billboard or KHJ.

Survey erratum: "Make Believe" by Wind has the "Weeks on Boss 30" listed as 5. It should be 6.
