Issue #175 - “Love Child” by the Supremes is their fourth No. 1 record on Boss Radio.

"Hey Jude" pulls a "Sunshine of Your Love" and refuses to go away quietly. From 20 back to 12.
"The Straight Life" is a bouncy change from Bobby Goldsboro's two previous death-themed singles, "Honey" and "Autumn of My Life."
"American Boys" marks the last Petula Clark single for KHJ, I think. When "Happy Heart" came out the following spring, KHJ played Andy Williams' version. Clark's singles are some of my favorite songs from the '60s.
We didn't know it at the time, but "Do Something to Me" would be the last poppy single from Tommy James. He'd make an abrupt turn to heavier sounds next time he charted.
Survey erratum: "All Along The Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix has the "Weeks on Boss 30" listed as 4. It should be 6.
